Heather Brittingham

With DTC USA since: 2012

Background
With a deep love for dogs and extensive training experience, Heather has made a significant impact on the lives of many furry companions. Heather’s journey into dog training began with her own pets. She always took the initiative to train her dogs and eagerly enrolled in various dog training classes. Her commitment to providing effective training and improving the lives of dogs and their owners is truly commendable.
Heather and Trainer Jay have been happily married since 1992. In 2003, they started fostering dogs for a Golden Retriever rescue organization. They ensured that each foster dog received proper training before finding their forever homes, resulting in a remarkable success rate with no dogs returned to the rescue. Today they enjoy spending time outdoors and indulging in their hobbies. Heather finds joy in casual photography and spending time in her favorite spot – the Outer Banks!

Where
Heather and Jay reside in Roxboro on a beautiful 6-acre property with their four dogs. Jaxson, a rescue Australian Shepherd, has a unique personality that shines through once he trusts you. Flynn, a Golden Retriever, is their ball-obsessed companion who shares an unbreakable bond with Duncan. Nova, the self-proclaimed princess, warms up quickly and becomes an athletic coach.
